Start or further your career in the equipment industry by joining our team here at MTE as an On the Road Sales Representative. MTE is a growing, family owned, equipment supplier in the Northeast with a team of 20+ on the road representatives, on the road service, and 4 full service locations.

In this position you will work every day on the road promoting and supporting the various equipment brands that we have to offer. We specialize in Giant Loaders, Ventrac Tractors, Jacobsen Equipment and more. Your primary customer base is made up of professional contractors, commercial/industrial properties, municipalities, colleges, universities, farms and golf courses.

We are seeking a motivated individual with good sales skills and a passion for the equipment industry to fill this opportunity in the greater New Haven area.

Equipment and Training is provided, motivated individuals with limited experience are encouraged to apply! Want to spend every day on the road meeting great people all throughout Connecticut Shore? This is the position for you!

Regular duties will include:

-Cold Calling potential new customers

-Calling on existing customers

-Following up on leads

-Attending tradeshows

-Demonstrating equipment when necessary

-Towing/delivering new equipment and demonstration machines when necessary

-Networking with potential/current clients

-Completing company CRM requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
